WebRebates – WEBREBATES0.EXE

Webrebates0.exe installs with WebRebates available via webrebates.com. The author describes this program as: "a peer to peer service that provides links to manufacturer rebate web pages". Some consider this to be adware as it may stealth install as part of other programs.

If you signed up for this and enjoy using it, leave the file in place. If not, remove it using WinPatrol. First, go to your Active Task list and remove webrebates, webrebates.exe, webrebates0.exe, and webrebates1.exe. Next, click on IE Helpers and remove webrebates. Finally, click on Startup Programs and remove webrebates.exe and webrebates1.exe. Some refer fo the webrebates as the "TopRebates" adware program.
