DLG.EXE is a name that is in use by many different programs.

1. DLG.EXE is a part of Dell's "Digital Line Detect" utility for Coexant modems running under Windows 2000 or XP.

2. DLG.EXE is part of a program called "DataLifeGuard" for Western Digital Hard Drives (20gig or larger). More information can be found by clicking here.

3. DLG.EXE is the name of a shareware file listing utility. It can generate a listing of files in a directory (folder) either on your system or on a remote site via FTP.

4. DLG.EXE may also be a Windows debug utility or a lab management program, and there are probably more programs with this name. Because we don't know which of these programs has place the file in your startup or task list, we can't determine if it can be safely removed.
