McAfee C-DILLA Copy Protection – CDAC11BA.EXE
C-Dilla is part of the Macrovision RTS Service. Macrovision provides "SafeCast" copy protection technology to a number of companies. SafeCast defeats CD-RW drives and ensures that you run the program on one machine only. Some contend that the program is spyware. If you're running a program that requires this file (such as MathCAD), removing the file will cause the program to stop working.
There is one instance you should be able to remove that installs with Intuit's Turbotax 2002. it installs to the C drive, C:\C_DILLA, with a hidden sub directory named 'SafeCast product licenses'. It also installs a service 'C-DillaCdaC11BA', which runs 'CDAC11BA.EXE'. It may also install with games or CAD programs such as 3DX Max. Some programs may install C_DILLA to your Windows\System folder.
If the C-Dilla/Safecast software is on your computer, you should be able to go to Add/Remove Programs and select "Safecast Shared Components" and remove it.
