ClipBook - CLIPSRV.EXE

Clipsrv.exe is a service provided by Microsoft Corporation as part of the Windows NT, 2000 and XP home & professional. It enables ClipBook Viewer to store information and share it with remote computers.

If the service is stopped, ClipBook Viewer will not be able to share information with remote computers. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.

The default setting for this service in Windows XP Home and Pro is "manual". If you use the clipboard frequently, leave this file as-is. For Windows XP Pro with the SP2 patch installed, the default setting is "disabled".
