DSS Player Pro – DEVDTCT2.EXE

DevDtct2.exe, Device Detector 2, installs with the Olympus DSS Player Pro voice playback software. When connected by a USB or Serial port, you can download voice recordings made on the DSS Player. This file detects when the DS-3000 is connected to your PC. When detected, it launches the full DSS Player Pro program.

If you don't mind manually starting your DSS Player program from Start > Programs or via a desktop icon, this file can be removed using WinPatrol. You'll find the latest version of the DSS Pro software at http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_downloads.asp.
