Fix-It Utility Updates – MXTASK.EXE

MXTASK.exe is part of the auto-update feature of Fix-It 4 by VCom. Fix-It is a set of utilities offering virus protection, rescue tools, registry cleaning and deleted file retrieval. MXTASK.EXE checks for updates to the Fix-It product and antivirus pattern file updates. You can disable auto-update from running in the background by running Fix-It then clicking ‘Settings’. If you opt to do this, please do a manual check for virus pattern updates now and then.
