Still Image Simulator – PASTISVC.EXE

Pastisvc.exe will appear in your Windows\System or System32 folder. You may see it described as "STI Simulator". It installs with the Still image (STI) driver for a number of USB based webcams including theTurst WebCam, Pro Cam, and QCam. If you have a USB-based webcam, leave this file in place. If you opt to disable it, please do so using WinPatrol. That way if your camera no longer functions, you can easily re-enable it.
