Research is a toolbar extension that installs with the Internet Research Toolbar (IRT). This product also goes by the name of WebStasher by Flexity Technologies. IRT provides a built-in way for Internet Explorer to save, organize and manage Web pages and their content. With IRT you can search what you have saved by whole or partial words, project, category, record type, date-saved, or by combined criteria. IRT also creates bibliographic citations specifically formatted for information found online.

This program is no longer available. It's former domain http://www.webstasher.com/ has been sold to an unrelated company.

The IRT or WebStasher toolbar icon may not be visible but is available as a quick link. To include or hide the icon, right-click on the Internet Explorer toolbar and choose Customize. If you don't want this feature, the file can be removed using WinPatrol. It will appear under WinPatrol's IE Helpers tab.

Research is also a toolbar extension that installs with Microsoft Office 2003 or later. The research task pane, available in Microsoft Office Word 2003, Microsoft Office Excel 2003, and Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003, provides Office 2003 users with the ability to search certain local and remote data sources from within these Office 2003 products.
