RPC Service – RPCNET.EXE

Rpcnet.exe will appear in your Windows\System or System32 folder. You may see it described as "Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Net". This Windows NT/2000/XP file is the Remote Procedure Call service. More information about this service can be found at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;177446. To find this file, maximize WinPatrol and click on "Services". Make sure you don't have "list non-Microsoft services only" checked. By default, it will run as "automatic".
