Windows Boot Font – BOOTFONT.BIN

Bootfont.bin installs as part of Microsoft Windows. Bootfont.bin stores the font used for messages when your system is booting. It is really only needed to replace the boot font on non-English versions of Windows. However, removing this file could lead to problems as Windows looks for it on boot up. So we'd recommend leaving it in place.

If you see weird characters while Windows is booting, you'll find help at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=251302. If you run WinPatrol 10.x or later, this file may appear in your Hidden Files list.
