HP Boot Optimizer – HPBOOTOP.EXE

Hpbootop.exe will appear in your C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Boot Optimizer\ folder. This file comes pre-installed on HP Pavilion desktops and some of HP's notebooks. As the name suggests, this file promises to speed up the boot process and to manage startup programs. If you want the services this program offers, you'll need to leave this file in your Startup Programs.
