HP Updater – HPWUSCHD.EXE

HPWUSchd.exe comes installed on many HP systems. This file generally appears in: [HP Software Update] C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Software Update\HPWuSchd.exe.

It may appear as a scheduled task. It checks for updates to both your operating system (via WindowsUpdate) and your HP software and drivers. If you'd prefer to handle these tasks manually, this file can be removed. On some systems, the file may appear as HPWUschd2.exe.
