InstallShield Engine – IDRIVERT.EXE

Idrivert.exe is part of the InstallShield program, a very common program used to install or uninstall software. Specifically, Idrivert.exe is the InstallShield Install Driver Table Manager. It is required on a computer to run some installations created with InstallShield. Idrivert.exe is located in c:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\1050\Intel 32\IDriverT.exe. Some installation error messages may reference idrivert.exe.

If you have this file running on your system, it's possible that you haven't rebooted since installing a program or that programs installation may not have completed normally. Try rebooting your system. Then check your Startup Programs and Active Tasks. This file should no longer appear there.
