ATI System Tray Icon - IGFXTRAY.EXE

Igfxtray.exe will be found in your Windows\System or System32 folder. It places an icon in your system tray that can be used to configure or run diagnostics on your Intel graphics card (based upon the 810 series graphics chipset). If you don't use this tray icon often, it can be safely removed from your Startup Programs. You can still adjust your graphics settings via Control Panel. If you don't recall installing an Intel Graphic Card, it's likely that this file came pre-installed on your system. It is often used on motherboards that come with "integrated graphics".

There are many versions of this file ranging from 1999 to the present. You'll find the latest drivers for your Intel video card at http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/Support_Intel.aspx?iid=HPAGE+low_getsupport_downloads&.

You'll find support services including a searchable knowledgebase at http://www.intel.com/support/index.htm?iid=CorporateV3+Header_2_Support_Head.

If you're getting an error on system startup that states "The IGFXTRAY.EXE file is linked to missing export HCCUTILS.DLL:IsDisplayValid", you'll find a fix at http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-004238.htm.
