eTrust AntiSpyware – ITMRTSVC.EXE

Itmrtsvc.exe will be found in your c:\Program Files\CA\SharedComponents\PPRT\bin folder. This file is the Pest Patrol Realtime Protection Service. It installs with what was PestPatrol but is now eTrust PestPatrol AntiSpyware by Computer Associates. This program promises to protect you from adware, spyware, and other non-viral threats. If you use this program, you'll want to leave this file in place. If you remove it, you'll be taking down your real-time protection.
