ColdFusion MX Application Server – JRUNSVC.EXE

Jrunsvc.exe installs with ColdFusion by Macromedia. The file is the ColdFusion MX Application Server service. More information on JRun can be found at http://livedocs.macromedia.com/jrun/4/JRun_SDK_Guide/apis4.htm.

If you use ColdFusion to create websites but do not run your own web server, you may not need this file. If you opt to remove it, we'd recommend doing so via WinPatrol. That way if any functionality is lost, you can easily re-enable the file.
