OmniPage Pro 15 – OPWARE15.EXE

Opware15.exe installs with OmniPage Pro version 15 or OmniPage Office by ScanSoft. You'll find the file in c:\program files\scansoft\omnipagepro15.0\opware14.exe. OmniPage is an optical character recognition program that comes with many scanners. It is used to convert scanned pages into editable text. This file doesn't necessarily need to be running all the time. If you do a lot of scanning, OCR and PDF Document conversion work, it's handy to let it run on startup. If you prefer, you can load it manually via the desktop icon or from Start > Programs. You'll want it running before you scan text documents or convert text to pdf format files.
