Remotely Access – RACTRL.DLL
Files called ractrl.dll, remotelyanywhere.exe, and ramaint.exe install with Remotely Anywhere and LogMeIn by 3AM Labs. Remotely Anywhere and LogMeIn are flexible remote administration and remote control programs for Windows. They allow you to access the host computer via the network (the LAN, an intranet or the Internet). On the client side all you need is a web browser, a terminal emulator, or a WAP-enabled phone. More information can be found at http://www.remotelyanywhere.com/.
Based upon the version you have, these other files may appear on your system: LogMeIn.exe, LogMeInSystray.exe, remotelyanywhere.exe, ragui.exe, rareboot.exe, rahook.dll, ramirr.dll, ra_scp.exe, ra_sftp.exe, ra_ssh.exe, raabout.exe, rz.exe, sc.exe, sz.exe, and tsclient.exe.
If you intentionally installed this software, then it's perfectly safe to have around. If you didn't install it and don't know what it's doing on your system, someone may be using it as spyware to access your system. In that event, we'd recommend removing any of the files listed above that appear on your system. Using WinPatrol, just kill the files found under Active Tasks and then remove those found in Startup Programs and IE Helpers.
