Sbhook.dll and sbhooksvc.exe install with the Motive Broadband Virtual Assistant also referred to as "Motive SmartBridge". Files called mpbtn.exe and matcli.exe may also appear on your system. Sbhook.dll and sbhook64.dll install with the 32 and 64-bit versions of Kaspersky Antivirus and Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 or later from Kasperksy Labs. One of these files will be running (depending upon your version) if you have the the Kaspersky Sandbox (Safe mode) enabled. This alows you to run a program in a secure, virtual space where it won't harm the rest of your system.
