PDFCreator Toolbar – SEARCHSETTINGS.DLL

Pdfcreator_toolbar.dll installs with PDFCreator by Pdfforge. This toolbar can be used to creat PDF files as well as PNG, JPG, TIFF, BMP, PCX, PS, and EPS files from nearly any Windows application with print capabilities. WidgiToolbarie.dll from GreenTree Appliations and searchsettings.dll from Vendio install with the Widgi Toolbar. These files are now bundled with current versions of the popular PDFForge open source PDF creator. They will generally be found in your c:\Program Files\PDFForge Toolbar\ folder. This is unusual in that many sources classify Searchsettings.dll and the Widgi Toolbar as adware (search hijacker). If the presence of these files outweighs the benefits of the free PDF creator, you may opt to uninstall the program via Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs or to remove these files using WinPatrol.
