WMI ADAP Process – WMIADAP.EXE

Wmiadap.exe is the WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) AutoDiscovery/AudoPurge process. The AutoDiscovery/AutoPurge process parses and transfers performance libraries to the WMI repository. This is a valid Microsoft file that will generally be found in your Windows\System or System32 folder in a subfolder called "wbem". Removing this file could have unpredictable consequences dependant upon the software you're running.
