Yahoomessenger.exe is the executable for Yahoo Messenger. Yahoo Messenger is an instant messaging and 'buddy list' service. Yahoo Messenger supports text, file transfer, voice conversations, video, and mobile phone connectivity. A companion program called Ypager.exe will play a sound to alert you that an incomming message has arrived. This file may also appear as ypager.exe -quiet. The quiet option can be used on Mobile phones to turn off audio alerts.
