Ares Galaxy – ARES.EXE

Ares.exe is the executable for the Ares Galaxy Peer to Peer file sharing program by SoftGap. Ares uses the Gnutella network to search and download files of any type. These types of file sharing services are plagued with adware, spyware, viruses, and worms. For this reason, we would recommend removing this file using WinPatrol. First, kill it in your Active Task list. Next, disable it in your Startup Programs. Finally, go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs and remove Ares, Ares Galaxy, SoftGab, or Gnutella.
