Awc.exe is the executable for Advanced Windows Care Personal (free but limited to one click per day) and Advanced Windows Care Professional by Iobit. This program is intended as competition for Microsoft's Windows OneCare.

If you use the free version, awc.exe doesn't need to be running all the time due to feature limitations. If you use the professional version with the "always on" features enabled, then you will want to leave this file in place.
