Microsoft Error Reporting – DW20.EXE

Dw20.exe is an error reporting tool that installs with many Microsoft programs. Examples include Microsoft's Intellipoint Mouse, Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player. It's not uncommon to have multiple instances of this file on your system. Dw20.exe announces in a user dialog box that an error has occurred; if the user chooses to send the report to Microsoft, it establishes a connection with watson.microsoft.com on port 80 (using HTTP), and then sends the report securely via port 443 (using HTTPS).

This file doesn't need to be running all the time. It can be launched automatically when needed.
