This program may be offered by your local news service to place weather information on your desktop. Unfortunately, it can also be used by other types of marketing firms and can be implemented as spyware. The hijackers we found redirected web searches to CesMarketing.com or myweather.com.

This filename may be followed with a series of numbers including desktopweather_1204650.exe, desktopweather_1249715.exe, and desktopweather_1298190.exe.

If you don't recall intentionally installing this software and if you don't use it, we'd recommend removing it using WinPatrol or uninstalling "MyWeather" or "DesktopWeather" at Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
