eHome Media Center Tray Icon – EHTRAY.EXE

Ehtray.exe installs with the eHome Media Center from Microsoft's eHome Division. With the eHome Media Center and XP Media Center Edition and the Windows Vista family, Microsoft hopes to make the PC-controlled home a reality.

Ehtray.exe places an icon in the system tray that can be used to access device controls. Normally if you don't use a system tray icon, it can be removed. But if you're running ehtray.exe under Windows XP Media Center Edition, removing this file will disable some of the remote control functionality available in Windows XP MCE.
