Adware Alert – HOOKDLL.DLL

Hookdll.dll installs with WinCode, a utility used to encode or decode Base64/MIME, uu-Encoded, Quoted-Printable, or BinHex Files.

Hookdll.dll is also a browser helper object that installs with the "LooknSearch" adware program. Files called guardian.dll, iesearch.dll, netclient.dll, and r_process.dll may also appear on your system. This adware program generates popup ads and may download other adware programs. We'd recommend removing it using WinPatrol. First, kill any of the files listed above that appear under your Active Tasks tab. Next, remove them under your IE Helpers tab.
