Logitech Webcam Software – LWS.EXE

Lws.exe will be found in your c:\Program Files\Logitech\Logitech WebCam Software\ folder. This file installs with the drivers for a wide variety of Logitech Webcams including the popular QuickCam Pro 9000. If you have a newer version, you may see it described as "LogitechQuickCamRibbon". Older versions weren't designed to run well under Windows Vista or Windows 7. So if you're having problems, you may want to check for an updated version at http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/405/&cl;=us,en?prodcrid=405. This file only needs to be running when you're using your Web Cam.

Because it is a short and common name, there may be other programs that install a file called lws.exe.
