Saitek Smart Technology – PROFILERU.EXE

Profileru.exe, profiler.exe, and saimfd.exe come bundled with Saitek game controllers and install with the SST (Saitek Smart Technology) Software. These files run on system startup and place a joystick icon in your taskbar. When you click on the joystick icon, you can add or edit profiles. In the profile editor, you can assign joystick buttons to a keyboard command. This can be used to launch programs. More information can be found at http://www.saitek.com/manuals/SST%20Manual.htm.

If you have no use for profiles and don't use the SST features or the Smart Button on your joystick, you can get by without these files.
