Quicktime Player – QTTASK.EXE

QTTask.exe installs with Apple's Quicktime media viewer. Quicktime also installs with Apple iTunes software. Qttask.exe is used to launch quicktime and place a Quicktime icon in your system tray. This file doesn't need to run on startup. You can launch Quicktime manually via Start > Programs or using the desktop icon. Alternatively, opening a .mov (quicktime movie format) file will launch the Quicktime player.
