Run As Admin Controller – RAACSERVICE.EXE
Raacapp.exe and raacservice.exe install with a program called RAAC(Run As Admin Controller) from Ziff-Davis Media, Inc. It was originally developed by by Mark Sweeney for PcMag for their May 2010 issue. RAAC allows the user to select programs to start with Windows and run them with full administrator privileges, thus disabling Vista and Windows 7's UAC (User Account Control) from blocking the app during startup. RAAC is also useful to XP users with limited accounts in that it lets them run programs with full administrative privileges. If you use this program, you'll need to let raacapp.exe this file run on system startup and leave raacservice.exe set to 'Automatic' in your WinPatrol Services.
