Windows XP Talbet PC – TABTIP.EXE

Tabtip.exe installs with the Tablet version of Windows XP. It is the tablet input panel. This file runs as a service and should be left running to ensure that you can input data using the tablet interface. Generally, if you disable this service, it will restart itself.

If you find that each time you start your tablet PC, you get a keyboard layout popup that you don't use, then we'd recommend using WinPatrol to disable it in your Startup Programs.
