Multiple Programs – UPDATETASK.EXE

Updatetask.exe appears to be an updater that installs with the Ask.com Toolbar. This instance of the file will be found in your c:\program files\Ask.com\Supertoolbar\ folder. A file called updatetask.exe also installs with Baidu Antivirus, a Chinese language antivirus program from KingSoft. This instance of the file will be found in your c:\Program Files\baidu\SafeCenter\ folder. You'll find more information in Chinese at http://www.kingsoft.com/. If you intentionally installed this program and use it as your antivirus protection, you may want to leave this file in place.

Because it is a common name, other programs may install a file called "updatetask.exe".
