Multiple Programs - WINAMPA.EXE

WinAmpA.exe is Winamp Agent, a component of your WinAmp MP3 player from NullSoft. It's recommended you check to be sure you are using the most current version. When running WinAmpA checks to see if another application has associated itself with mp3 files so it becomes the default instead of WinAmpA.

Winampa.exe is also reported to be a driver for PV-564DM Video Monitor from Proview.

Unfortunately, Winampa.exe also installs with a backdoor virus. Different antivirus programs use different names including: Backdoor.Spyboter.gen, W32/Spybot.worm.gen.b, W32.Spybot.Worm.
