PDF-XChange – PDFSAVER3.EXE

PDFSaver3.exe installs with PDF-XChange 3 by Tracker Software. You'll probably find it in c:\Program Files\Tracker Software\PDF-XChange 3\. PDF-XChange creates Adobe compatible PDF files from virtually any Windows program such as MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Publisher, etc.

PDF-XChange sets itself up as a printer. When this printer is selected, you can use the "print" function from almost any windows program. Your document will be 'printed' to a PDF file and saved on your hard drive. More information can be found at http://www.docu-track.com/index.php?page=22.

This program doesn't necessarily need to be running all the time. If you don't print to PDF very often, you could remove it from your Startup Programs then launch it manually from Start > Programs when needed.
