Related.htm - Internet Explorer Toolbar

The Related.htm Toolbar link is included has been included in some versions of Internet Explorer and provides an icon which if clicked will show you other web pages "related" to the web page you're currently viewing.

The Related service is provide by a Alexis which tracks web usage and provides statistics on the popularity of web pages. It's not clear how Alexa decides which pages are "related" to the one you're currently looking at. We suspect that priority goes to advertisers or Alexa partners.

Alexa is now owned by Amazon and offers a free toolbar, which includes a popup blocker but isn't one that we recommend. Alexa and the related.htm is considered spyware by some of the Anti-Spyware companies because it does track your usage and may actually send information in a web request which you may not want to share.
