Symantec Product Registration - VCCLEANUP.EXE
VCCLEANUP.EXE is used when registering some products by Symantec Corp. VCSETUP.EXE should start Symantec's LiveReg application. You'll progress through several screens and may be asked to respond to a survey. VCCLEANUP.EXE should run at the end of the process to remove it and other registration files from your registry.
You may have this file running because the registry key was never cleaned up. It is not required and doesn't do anything useful for you so we'd generally recommend removing it. Some categorize this type of file as spyware but there is no evidence at this time that it collects and sends data to Symantec without your knowledge.
