FindFast Indexing - FINDFAST.EXE
This program is part of Microsoft Office and provides indexing of your office type files.
It's meant to make access to your documents faster. Unless you spend your entire day in Word, Excel or other Office application it's not worth having around.
Usually if FindFast is enabled you'll see an icon in your control panel that allows you to disable it.
After removing FindFast check your hard drive for a bunch of files that start with ffastun... like ffastun0.ffx. You can delete these files and reclaim some disk space thatwas used as file indexes.
